Tijuana, B.C., Mexico — SAEN Studio transformed the existing headquarters of Ruffo Ibarra Consultores with a clear objective: to create a workplace that prioritizes the well-being and mental health of its employees while reflecting the firm’s professionalism and legacy.
Rather than following the traditional accounting office model of enclosed cubicles, the design embraces openness, natural light, and unobstructed views from the 13th floor of Torres de Aguacaliente. By strengthening the connection between the interior and the surrounding city, the workspace promotes a calmer, healthier, and more inspiring daily environment that encourages collaboration, reduces isolation, and enhances overall workplace satisfaction.
Timeless natural materials—including walnut wood, travertine, and stainless steel—create a warm and enduring atmosphere that conveys trust and permanence. Throughout the project, meticulous detailing reinforces a sense of craftsmanship, culminating in the reception area, where custom millwork seamlessly extends from the walls into the ceiling.
The result is a contemporary workplace that supports both people and performance. By placing employee well-being at the center of the design, SAEN Studio reimagines the accounting office as an environment that fosters connection, productivity, and long-term growth while leaving a lasting impression on clients and staff alike.
