Exploring design through film
Four times a year SDAF curates films on architecture & design and shares them with its members and the general public. The series highlights the best in design films from around the world. Our community has the opportunity to advance screen or bring back favorites of many of the most discussed documentaries in the industry.
The topics are broad with “Design” being the connector for the series. We’ve enjoyed screenings and short films on green design – with the “Greenhouse” by Joost boggling our minds on how we can transform our living spaces. We’ve explored furniture making, interior design, food, photography, landscape architecture, material sourcing and even the design of airstream trailers.
Attendees enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the opportunity to sketch with friends while being exposed to a whole new world of design possibilities!
