Opportunity:
Design an ‘experience’ for the people that visit the Innovation Center and Global Showroom for women’s health devices.
Goal/Solution:
• The intention of this 15,000 sf Global Center was to marry innovation with nature through a journey. Starting at the ‘portal’, visitors move through the curved space to reveal the showroom with demonstration ‘pods’ then the space transitions and links the outdoors.
• Choreographed to create distinct stages and touch points as part of the ‘experience’ and uses sustainable materials and energy efficient lighting throughout.
• Specific symbolism was minimized as the visitors are global and a universal experience was vital. Entering the lower scale ‘portal’, the curved geometry, aural sound, blue hued lights and video band, slowly reveal the higher volume showroom ‘pods’ that present the company’s devices – giving compression and release experience.
• Each pod in the space creates its own presentation to the visitors.
• Clear glass views surround 200 degrees of the space, the light and views give opportunity to physically connect to the outside and give your senses a break from technology.
• The central conference room has sliding glass walls so when not in use, affords a clear view and connection to the outside and nature.

Great space and movement. Very sexy!
Cool spaces
Really enjoyed how the hallway has been given some life with the monitors. Hallways tend to be so stagnant typically.
