Erasca is a clinical-stage precision oncology company singularly focused on erasing cancer by identifying targets that can shut down signaling of various oncogenic drivers. Erasca envisions a day when the world will no longer suffer from cancer.
The new facility was to incorporate organic and sustainable products and design elements into the overall design. In addition, three separate finish packages highlighting the different departments on each level of the building were to be provided while keeping the overall tenant space design cohesive. The multiple finish packages eased the supply chain issues by limiting the qualities of finish materials needed to complete the space and maintain the design intent.
The new tenant space also had to represent Erasca’s values and company culture along with their commitment to research and development. Therefore, the design approach had to create an environment that would enhance creativity, promote innovation, maintain integrity and encourage collaboration, while also promoting synergies between research, management, facilities, and office culture. Soft curves, warm tones and natural patterns were used incorporated on all the floor finish palettes while changing the materials to emphasize the different departments on each level. The result was an invigorating facility that is an inviting, open, highly detailed, contemporary space.
