Orchid The UCSD Design & Innovation Building. Completed in 2021, is UC San Diego’s 74,000-square-foot dedicated hub and your campus resource for all things entrepreneurial.
Each floor is designed to help our incredible community of students, faculty and staff explore their ideas, learn how to think and have the ability to move through each floor on their way to making a much larger impact on society with their ideas and potentially, their own startup.

WOW this is stunning!
What a fun building. The design is very dynamic, and the lighting is very playful. The lighting applications compliment the architectural design.
Super fun. I experienced this building first hand and it is very inviting both in the evening and during the day. The building is very well lit especially in the work shops.
