When you get right down to it, Snapdragon Stadium is pretty sexy. Styling, architecture, murals, lighting, and signage have been done very well, and the stadium has signature San Diego curb appeal. The new venue captures the culture, vibe, and scenery of San Diego. It boasts clean lines, large open spaces, views of the surrounding valley, and plenty of varied areas to enjoy games and concerts — a far cry from the well-loved but monochromatic monolith it replaced.

Remnants of the original Stadium can be found throughout Snapdragon: Art murals, famous phrases from Aztec greats, statues, recycled concrete pavers, and other unique San Diego mementos, all of which make exploring the stadium fun for visitors of all ages.

Grass-covered berms encircle the stadium, perfect for family picnics, group tailgating, and even non-game day events like SDSU classes and farmer’s markets. There is space to accommodate food trucks that rotate throughout the season, generating novelty.

San Diego’s green line station, less than 100 yards from the entrance gate, is the grandest entry. Excitement builds not only because you’ve reached a spectacular venue via a proper City mode of transportation, but the unobstructed views and grand procession make one giddy with anticipation.

The design, a strategically crafted combination of scenic and fan-friendly exterior, unique and highly visible social areas, and the San Diego skyline make this project a stunning San Diego landmark.
