Mirador/Acceso is the first in a series of climate interventions in the newly inaugurated Esperanto Park. These interventions focus on environmental regenerative processes linked to habitat restoration and conservation, climate variations, social relationship processes, and hydrological markers.
The environmental aspect of the interventions aims to achieve three objectives:
.Restoration of the endemic habitat of the Tijuana Dam.
.Conservation of the pristine elements of the Coastal Scrub of Baja California with its riparian elements.
.Playing an educational role in disseminating the value of this ecosystem and fostering a comprehensive understanding of human interaction with environmental factors, native flora, and fauna of the region.
Mirador/Acceso is the continuation of the street that frames the view of the city’s largest body of freshwater. It includes two environmental classrooms that will serve as an extension of the adjacent elementary school.
