House T ADU

This project is 1,200 sf. accessory dwelling unit (ADU) located in Oak Park, San Diego CA.. The main idea of the designers was to create ‘courtyard house’ that takes advantage of the existing greenery of its surroundings, framing the views and keeping privacy from the neighbors. It was very important for the design team and clients to take advantage of light, cross ventilation and water collection. This Accessory Dwelling Unit is an example of how it is possible to have quality of living working with a limited budget. And also creating a minimal impact on the existing nature.
