Fox Point Farms is a first-of-its-kind ‘agrihood’ centered around a regenerative farm that sustains a 21-acre mixed-use community in Encinitas. Creating a resilient model for sustainable living, a team of next-gen artisans operates as a circular micro-economy featuring the 3-acre farm, a zero-waste full-service restaurant, a farm-to-tap organic brewery and coffee roaster, a farm-stand market, an apothecary, wellness and event spaces, and more.
Preserving horticultural land once used for North County’s renowned Ecke Ranch, the six-year development process was completed in July 2024. In addition to the farmland and commercial spaces, 250 nearby homes are being constructed in partnership with Shea Homes.
The design of Fox Point Farms involved renowned San Diego-based contractors, architects, landscape architects, interior designers, fabricators, and lighting experts. The team pursued exceptional sustainable performance through energy-efficient materials, water conservation, and waste reduction, with plans for future renewable energy sources.
