Fox Point Farms is a pioneering sustainable and regenerative agrihood development, combining residential and commercial amenities in a community-centered environment. The Architectural language of the farm honors its history as a cut-flower farm. Structures feature western red cedar exteriors, reclaimed teak interiors, and Douglas fir landscape elements crafted by local artists. This innovative community showcases a holistic approach to sustainability, agriculture, and community living.
All community amenities are open to the public, including the Hatch Gatherings event center, yoga studio, Haven Market, a farm-to-table restaurant, brewery, and coffee roaster. The Harvest Market features 20 taps directly connected to the on-site organic brewery, the first in Encinitas and the second in San Diego. A central lawn links the event center and marketplace, fostering interaction for the 250 residential currently units under construction. The community farm includes a full orchard, extensive vegetation, a microgreens and mushroom room, and three greenhouses. Produce is sold at the market, as CSA boxes, and supplies the restaurant. All site waste is composted and recycled, supporting the farm’s regenerative life cycle. In September, the farm will welcome chickens, goats, two miniature donkeys, and alpacas to enhance this sustainable cycle.
