Tucked into the heart of a life-science campus, this café transforms a simple gathering spot into a place where nature, architecture, and community intersect. The design embraces its setting with a material palette inspired by the natural beauty of Torrey Pines. Stratified concrete walls echo the local cliffs and sedimentary formations of the nearby reserve, giving the building a sense of place while creating a warm and tactile backdrop for daily campus life. More than a café, the project becomes a welcoming pause point, a place to grab a coffee, connect with colleagues, and enjoy the landscape.

Nourish Eats has quickly become the go-to eatery for scientists in Torrey Pines. Not only is the grab-n-go perfectly proportioned into the One Alexandria Square campus, the menu serves healthy, affordable, nourishing meals to fuel the minds working in the surrounding laboratories.
Nourish Eats Grab-n-Go blends perfectly into the campus and allows guests to eat inside the smartly appointed bistro, or step outside and experience the tribute garden and sculptures inspired by the research being done on the campus.
Love Nourish!!
