The client’s vision for GCS was to foster collaboration and open dialogue. Instead of traditional workstations, the design introduces two generous collaborative surfaces that promote interaction and idea-sharing. Architectural elements define zones of privacy for fixed users without disrupting the openness of the overall layout.
An executive office integrates smart film into its glass partition, offering privacy or transparency on demand while preserving access to natural light—enhancing both comfort and spatial perception.
Glazed partitions throughout the space ensure shared views and daylight reach every corner. Reflective surfaces further amplify these connections, extending visual continuity even into smaller areas.
Integrated reveals subtly connect architectural components and help reduce the perceived height of the soffits. These soffits also conceal major utility systems, preserving ceiling height and contributing to the open, expansive feel of the space.
The design balances transparency and discretion, functionality and comfort. Every element supports the broader goal of encouraging collaboration while respecting individual needs. The result is a bright, flexible, and precisely crafted environment that fosters productivity, equity, and a shared sense of place for all users—an office that reflects both innovation and intentionality.
