Inspiring San Diego’s youth to discover the value of design in our built environment.

BEEP Activities

BEEP offers activities such as the popular KidSketch program, which is a series of free sketching lessons to encourage drawing as a way to learn about and explore the world around us, as inspiration for the next generation of built-environment visionaries, and just to have fun! This program is for kids of all ages (adults too).

KidSketch is held online on the Second Saturday of every month. Check out our Calendar for information on upcoming lessons, or follow along with a past lesson today! Start with activity below or go to our Activities page to see the full list.

What is BEEP?

BEEP stands for Built Environment Education Program. As part of SDAF’s overarching mission, the program strives to inspire San Diego’s youth to discover the value of design in our built environment.

BEEP San Diego is dedicated to educating and advocating for school-age youth as meaningful participants, leaders, and decision makers in crafting our local cities, neighborhoods, and parks. Learn more.
